Buildup -- Step 10: Odd ends
First off, I swear that fig. 45 was not planned
to come out the way it did. I think there's a ghost in the parts tree.
To assemble the body mounts, front bumper and rear wheelie bar, it's wise
to get the parts for each assembly collected into a pile before starting.
Follow the diagrams carefully and pay attention to the distinction between
the coarse-threaded, self-tapping "TP Screws" and the fine,
machine-threaded regular "Screws." The latter go into the wheelie
bar wheels and wheelie bar to chassis mounts only. Also note that
the aluminum rod goes in between the chassis plates, whereas the plastic
rod is mounted further back. This truck-to-be just got a lot bigger...
